Made dinner for my sister last night! Hope she enjoyed it. I’ve cooked Chicken Chops as requested by her.

Presentation was not too good.. due to the fact that there was no colours in it cause my sis hates veggy! (so do I =x)

Kinda miss those jerks at Shatec. Most of them are Chefs-to-be now, While I’m a.. future-potential-housewife-to-be (at least it’s still something. HA!)

Even though I didn’t complete the diploma at Shatec. I’m still able to put those months of experience acquired to cook for the family! So, it wasn’t a waste!

Shatec really helped in alot of ways. I had trouble cooking maggie mee before. But now…

Ta-daaaa!

Had to ask Mister Boyfriend aka Daddy to refresh my memory though.

*On The Phone*
Mister Boyfriend: Left 5minutes to talk till they take the phones away.
Shynessa: OKAY! Daddy! in 5minutes explain how to cook chicken chop?
Mister Boyfriend: Marinate chicken in olive oil, flour, garlic, thyme, pepper and salt.
Shynessa: Sauce?
Mister Boyfriend: Fry peppercorn, mushroom. Add flour. Add brown sauce.
Shynessa: Next!
Mister Boyfriend: Pan fry chicken, skin side first. 2-3minutes per sides.
Shynessa: Okay! Understooded. Thanks Mister Daddy! Love you!
Mister Boyfriend: Love you too baby! Goodluck cooking!

I really love to cook all of a sudden! Hmm.. actually I love to bake more. Don’t you just have that strange feeling of contentment when your food brings a smile to people’s face?

To think, I hated the kitchen so much, back in Shatec. Time goes by, people changes.

You will never treasure what you have till you lose it. The bittersweetness of life. I love and hate the feeling of regrets, because I can’t learn if I don’t regret.
