Beauty and elegance yet practical, it’s currently one of the most stylish phone you can buy in the market. At least in my opinion it is.
Firstly, I have to admit one important detail. The truth is, when I first saw the Prada II, I loved it mostly because it’s Prada. But honestly, don’t let the brand blind you like I was. This phone is not inferior in technology wise.

It’s branded Prada, it’s black and glossy. Glossy enough to be used as a mirror even! It’s not just a phone, it’s also a fashion accessory. The Prada II (KF900) is almost alike in terms of design from the first Prada (KE850). The only difference is, it’s slightly thicker because of it’s slide out QWERTY keyboard. (I’m a big fan of QWERTY keyboards, especially sliding ones!) But it’s not bulky at all and would easily fit into the pockets of your jeans.

The Prada II runs on the LG OS. Basically have similar functions with most of the newer LG phones.
Honestly speaking, I know very little about gadgets and their functions. I didn’t have much problems with the phone. However, I realise that the phone has some connectivity problems. It’s sometimes tricky to get the WIFI working. The other major problem would be, I couldn’t send out SMS. But I found out it was because I didn’t have a 3G sim card, so it’s not the phone’s fault. Most people have already changed their sim cards to the 3G ones, but mines still living in the historical times (since I was 12 years old).
Either then that, I do think the phone is pretty simple to navigate. And I don’t really feel much delay when browsing around.
I love the fact that the sound is loud and clear, does miracles as a alarm… would instantly awaken you!
The thing I’m really impressed about, would be it’s camera. Like most LG phones currently, it’s 5.0megapixels. You might think that photos taken by phones doesnt always turn out clear. But this camera is really as good as any average camera.
Scenario: I was at a dinner and forgotten to bring my camera along. I wanted to take pictures and so I decided to use the Prada II’s camera. I usually don’t use my phone to take pictures cause its turns out too blurry.
I when home and uploaded the photos to my computer. My mum happen to walked in and said that the pictures was really well taken! She thought that I had a very good camera. And I said, the pictures were taken by the phone. She was shock.
You could also get another (sold separately) accessory to combine with the phone, the Prada Link. Which is a watch and no, it’s not just an ordinary watch with the Prada word on it.

Connected by bluetooth, this watch will alert you when you recieve a phone call or SMS, but of cause it’s still a watch that shows the time. You could read your SMS through the watch too. Helps alot when your phone is hidden in your bag and you didn’t hear it ring!

Also, there’s this function that most people might not think off. Which is… the Prada II and the Prada Link can be used as a “tracking device!” HA! Let me explain…
*story time! claps claps*
Scenario: I was at the IT Show with my sister. It was very crowded, and sometimes my sister would suddenly disappear. But somehow she always reappear out of no where. The reason was simple. She was wearing the Prada Link and I was holding onto her Prada II phone.
She told me whenever the watch beeps and shows that it’s disconnected from the phone, she will know that I’m far from her. So she walks back till the watch indicates that it’s connected, and she’ll be able to find me again!
The retail price of the LG Prada II is S$1,288 and S$688 for Prada Link.
